This Beautiful Parrish Kitchen Remodel had a Large Island already, however...the main task area of the prep space was not really conducive to the remainder of the work triangle, which caused the start of this Kitchen Renovation.

Meeting with a new homeowner and getting though the list of wants and desires is the first step on Designing a Kitchen to start the Remodeling Process moving forward. First of all, the work triangle needed some help. The very large kitchen island was where the sink was located in the original plan. That makes a difficult pathway to the cooking area located with a smaller island between them. A raised bar also was  a huge distraction to the space and the big bulk microwave cabinet from nowhere seemed to be a bulky corner as you look at the kitchen in a whole. The kitchen was dated as far as color tones and not to the homeowners liking. 

Kitchen Design by Laura and her teams of Licensed General Contractors work tightly together along with the homeowner to produce the kitchen they desire and fits best in the space. In this situation, the homeowner needed to keep the original flooring which ran through the entire home. Trying to go from the creamier tones and bring in more neutral gray tones and a subtle change of color throughout was our first task of this project. 

Keeping close to the original footprint and needing 13 tiles to replace changes only is exactly the number of tiles that the homeowner had in their attic. You couldn't cut it closer than that. Very little floor trenching created a safety net of 1 tile and our team did a superb job on getting this task done with no errors. 

The very large kitchen island was reconstructed adding 4 large spindles and seating on each end as well as all around the island. Moving the main sink to the smaller island by the cooking range gives a useful working triangle and keeps the main cooking space all together. The very large main island is now for seating and for buffet only. Lots of Kitchen Storage is in the large kitchen island and that was very imperative to this kitchen renovation.

There is also a huge walk in pantry to the left of the refrigerator hidden behind what looks to be cabinet doors. The room behind those doors is a pantry for any dream chef. It's actually the size of a small bedroom. This kitchen remodel has a lot of components to offer. A new wet bar area that transcends into the dining area also leaves a bump out for serving as well as seating for a few people to enjoy the kitchen renovation from a different view. 

White cabinetry in a 3" shaker style door adds for a transitional kitchen approach. Tall cabinets topped with glass uppers with lighting also gives this Kitchen Remodel a nice clean and inviting ambiance.
