About This Project

Lido Beach Coastal Kitchen Remodel

This Lido Key Beach Home had its challenges. Not only was it a very small kitchen, lacked storage and function, it was also compartmentalized away from the living space. Opening up the wall to the dining space and reducing the hall ways bulky closet that contained the water heater was a challenge. However, Laura saw an opportunity to incorporate the dining space into the kitchen by creating a useful peninsular with seating and extra storage with detail of a “not so kitchen” look to enhance the living space. Creating drawers on one side for the kitchen and task area and hidden cabinetry for hide away storage under the bar seating more than doubled this small kitchens function as well as storage capacity.

Cabinets are a light sea foam green color topped with beautiful Recycled Glass Curava Quartz. Simply a beautiful entertaining space :)
