This Sarasota Kitchen Renovation turned out simply stunning. White Kitchen Cabinetry is the number one requested cabinet color in today's color selections for a kitchen remodel.  this small villa had some great space to work with but needed some updating and Kitchen Design by Laura did just that. Kitchen Design by Laura met with the homeowner and discussed their desire for the space and what their kitchen remodeling options were. the biggest issue in this kitchen was the very tall ceilings with the double row of soffits. There was not a lot of light in the space and the angles made it difficult to make a lot of changes to the foot print trying to stay within the budget. Removing one row of soffits made sense for this project. It added some architectural features and some decorative elements to the design of this new kitchen renovation. since the dining area was directly off of the kitchen, it was decided to turn the entire space into a NEW KITCHEN and double the storage for the space.

Removing the lower soffit gave room for 42" tall upper cabinets in this kitchen renovation project. By keeping the upper soffit, it also closed the space a little for the extremely tall ceilings and help with echoing. New White Custom Cabinetry with a 3" shaker flat panel door style perfected the transitional kitchen the homeowner had wanted. Lots of storage, including a pantry with rollouts, tons of deep drawers, tray cabinet, double waste bin and deep refrigerator cabinet with side panels. A microwave was moved into the custom built pantry and housed in a specifically built space. 

New appliances including the Samsung 4 door flex refrigerator was installed. The Samsung 4 door flex is a very unique refrigerator and a fan favorite for families that want the flexibility with the bottom right space to be a refrigerator, chiller, beverage cooler or a freezer. Lots of storage for a counter depth refrigerator and so much flexibility. This refrigerator makes for an excellent kitchen remodel for those who don't want to break the bank on expensive high end appliances. A chimney stainless steel hood also created an inviting space at the range area.

The beautiful granite in this kitchen renovation is called Fantasy Brown or Brown Fantasy, depending on the granite yard. It is full of lots of graining that adds lots of style but not too expensive as far as Granite pricing with exotics or ones with lots of veins. Granite is a personal taste and is chosen by slabs at local granite yards. Laura is very knowledgeable when it comes to natural stone. New Tile Floors and a New Kitchen Floorplan has turned this space from Blah to Spectacular. The new porcelain 12 x 24 flooring set on an offset pattern looks like marble however, with less maintenance. The color tones are beige and gray which matches most colors and also is a very popular color scheme with the recent kitchen remodels and very versatile. A backsplash consistent with the kitchen colors was installed behind the hood and under the upper cabinets and is enhanced with upper cabinet lighting. We even gave the adjoining laundry room a face lift as well.
