This Sarasota Villa kitchen renovation has been transformed from a small galley kitchen to a Huge Space with an Island with seating. When Laura Wallace, owner of Kitchen Design by Laura met the homeowners, they had no idea what to do with this kitchen except they wanted an update. Award winning kitchen designer Laura Wallace thinks out of the box on almost every renovation project she is brought into creating new kitchen spaces that her homeowners have never even thought of. Laura's thought was to create a new kitchen where the dining room and existing kitchen are and moving the dining room to the wasted space off of the formal living room right out side the kitchen. As the homeowners saw the CAD layouts that Kitchen Design by Laura provided, they grew excited and loved the new kitchen plan. At this time, Laura calls in the team she selected to work on this kitchen renovation and they got to work putting together a kitchen remodel project sure to please when complete. 

This Kitchen Remodel turned out spectacular and led an excitement for the homeowners to make their new kitchen better than ever expected. The Villa had an internal kitchen that separated two living spaces and a tiny dining area next to a small pass thru galley kitchen. Opening up the space completely and redesigning the kitchen to use both the kitchen and dining area still separates  the two living areas and the main living room had wasted space that is now used for the newly relocated dining room. Incorporating a new layout that consisted of a large kitchen island with seating, plenty of prep space, a very functional work triangle and a buffet back drop for a focal point made this Sarasota kitchen remodel a spectacular entertaining space that the homeowners were delighted in. 

Kitchen Design by Laura provides custom built cabinetry that consists of all plywood boxes, full extension, soft close, dovetail drawers and soft closing doors. Every kitchen is finely crafted locally and professional installed by the cabinet builder for expert installation. On this kitchen renovation we provided Beautiful 3" shaker Cabinets with ogee trim detail in designer with. The large seating island is always functional on the task space equipped with a double waste pull base cabinet, two sets of drawer banks and of course your dishwasher and undermount sink for a perfect combination of prep and storage solutions. On the reverse side of the island, we added 12" deep cabinets under the bar seating and a buffet area. This functional space is incredible and adds lots of storage for items that are not used on a daily basis. In actuality it increases the upper storage factor by the length of the large island. By centering the slide in GE Range, equipped with 2 ovens, a convection microwave was placed above for tons of cooking in  a 30" space leaving more kitchen not crowded with unnecessary housing of appliances. The range wall space is balanced by the refrigerator with a deep refrigerator box and side panels to give it that finished look and a large pantry equipped with rollouts and adjustable shelves for tons of storage in the new kitchen remodel. The buffet area also gives a nice back drop to supply a spot for a coffee bar and again, lots of cabinetry storage. The entire space is more inviting and opens up a whole new living space for this very deserving family. 

The beautiful new countertops are Fantasy Brown in a Leather Finish Granite and is absolutely stunning with the simple ceramic subway tile splash. New Wood Look Porcelain Plank Tile throughout, purchased from floor and decor called Navarro Beige, also creates for a beautiful space and pulls the color tones together in this fabulous new Sarasota kitchen remodel. Pendant lighting hung above the island adds a stylish touch to the space and all new LED lighting, under cabinet lighting and opening up the walls makes this newly renovated kitchen lighter and brighter.
