In this lovely Sarasota kitchen and bath remodel, the homeowners desired a better kitchen and updated look to their Longboat Key condo. The kitchen was nestled in a closed box and the dining room and living room were separated from the small kitchen that not only lacked storage, it just didn't function to it's fullest capacity. Dated dome ceilings and a small pass thru were on the list to address. Laura Wallace, owner of Kitchen Design by Laura is an award winning designer that thinks out of the box when it comes to designing a kitchen and bathroom with a small space to make it appear to be much larger and a much more functional kitchen and bathroom layout. By removing the wall that boxed in the small kitchen and lengthening the entry wall created a much larger space to work with. By creating a dining area from the large island peninsular and omitting a dining area all together gave this kitchen remodel a much more usable space and also created a larger living area with an open concept remodel design.

The white custom built cabinetry in 3" shaker style added a very light and airy appearance for this beachy looking condo. Bringing in the view of the bay, we added water looking glass tile for the back splash and nautical looking pendant lightings across the large peninsular with seating.
